MUSIC MAKING MEMORIES

Interact and Entertain residents of Memory Care facilities

Music Making Memories is a program in which volunteers visit participating memory care facilities throughout Overland Park and Leawood, KS. During our visit , we interact with residents in small groups or one-on-one settings and sing songs with them from their youth.  They love to hear classic oldies, Broadway show-tunes and top hits from the 40's, 50's and 60's.  The goal is to interact, entertain and relieve anxiety through the power of music.
